It has been over 2 years since I last wrote the entry "Generic Whine Blog" on my MySpace (http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=28477075&blogId=226289238) account. Boy have things changed...
For one thing (the astute reader will notice this right away), my writing skills have gone from subpar to terrible. I apologise in advance for any brain spasms incurred as a result of reading this.
The topic I covered in the last blog entry was "Growing up" and how changes in my life have affected my personality. Indeed, I'm not sure if the Carl who wrote that 2 years ago would recognise who I am today. For better or worse I have significantly toned down my antics and live a much more secluded life. I wouldn't call myself a hermit - I do still endulge in an adult beverage from time to time - but I'm finding that I'm enjoying sitting at home almost as much as waking up drunk in Aiken (long story).
Could Hot Carl be dead???
Not likely. But Hot Carl has changed. I'm beginning to see that my life going forward will not be defined by the events of the evening, but rather the people I meet along the way. And its hard to make friends when you're praying to the porcelain gods.
